Chapter 22 – Survival

  1. Go to page 215 and read Isaiah 43:1-2. What is it saying to you? How is it relevant to your life right now?
  2. The author describes the horrific pain of the loss of his wife. When have you felt like that? When have you gone through experiences similar to that?
  3. Note the Scripture mentioned on pages 221 and 222. It becomes an enormous promise to us in the midst of the deepest of pains. Do you need that promise right now? If so, why?
  4. Read Revelation 21:4. How does that verse impact you at this moment? Pray for each other right now.
  5. Go to page 222 and read aloud the personal declaration.
