- What thoughts do you have after reading the chapter about the Hebrew word chesed (it is not pronounced “cheesed” like cheese; it is pronounced with a guttural, throaty sound: “KESS-ed”).
- What do you think of when you hear the Greek word agape? (Pronounced “awe-GAWP-eigh”)
- Review the key descriptors of agape on pages 59 – 63. On page 64 read the top bulleted items with the word “it” followed by the same words, and the bulleted list where “it” is replaced by the word “Him.” What is that saying to you in terms of pursuing Him in your own personal Christian life?
- On page 65 read out loud the personal declaration.
